“One of the special highlights of the event was the juvenile section, where the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) conducted an exciting training session for young Special Olympic athletes, who may or may not have been familiar with football.

"The young athletes participated in various drills, including passing, dribbling, defending, shooting, and team-based attacking scenarios.

“There were several memorable moments during the tournament:

"One of the standout moments was a stunning long-range goal by an impressive player from Waterford, which drew cheers from the crowd and set the tone for an exciting day of football.

"The goalkeepers were in top form, with several dramatic saves that kept the matches intense and competitive. A particularly memorable save came from the Kerry Stars’ goalkeeper, who managed to block a powerful free kick destined for the top corner.

“The camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed by all teams were truly inspiring.
