Hundreds of rowers gathered last weekend to take part in the Irish Coastal Rowing Championships, showcasing some of the finest rowing talent in Ireland.

It was held at the home of the Irish rowing, the National Rowing Centre in Farran (County Cork), and was hosted by Kilmacsimon Rowing Club.

And as our pictures here today show, it was a wonderful occasion, enjoyed by rowers and spectators from all over Ireland.

And there was a great scattering of Cork medal wins, which made for an even more enjoyable occasion for the host county.
