The local credit union are pleased to be able to support a club that is at the forefront in helping to develop, in so many ways, the children within their community with chairman of the Board Michael O’Connell praising the club.

“We are very honoured to be involved with Blue Demons who have done so much work on Cork’s northside for many years and like many clubs they are an integral part of our community,” he said.

O’Connell believes Gurranabraher Credit Union have consistently invested into various sports on Cork’s northside.

“Sport is very important to the children and youth and we have focused big time in ensuring clubs are kept afloat,” he added.

“We are confident that this year’s event will continue to meet the high standards we have set ourselves when staging this Classic.

Since my dear friend Peter Coughlan passed away in 2018 we dedicated the Classic in his memory as he was a tireless worker since the inception of the event.

“We have received many plaudits on an annual basis as we do our very best to ensure all teams have an enjoyable day and I think our policy will not change in that department."
