Prize-winning artworks from two Cork students have gone on display in an exhibition of winning works from this year’s 72nd Texaco children’s art competition.
Included as part of the exhibition, which is on display at the busy motorway services hub at Junction 14 Mayfield in Co Kildare, is Walk by Klara Machowska, from Ernest Bryll Polish School at the Embassy on North Monastery Road.
The other Leeside piece of art on display is My Favourite Things! by Esme Murphy from Our Lady of Lourdes National School on Ballinlough Road.

Located off the M7 motorway near Monasterevin, Junction 14 has been transformed into an art gallery, where 21 winning works are each exhibited at 1.5m tall, window-size formats, enabling the many thousands of customers who visit the motorway services station daily to view the exhibition as they travel.
Opening the exhibition, which runs until November 1, Liam Fitzpatrick, co-owner of Junction 14, praised the artworks on display.
