Man to be sentenced at Cork court after pleading guilty to €14,000 money-laundering offence

A €14,000 money-laundering offence has been admitted by a man who appeared at Cork District Court.
Vitor Paulino, aged 31, of an apartment at Rockgrove Tce, Lower Glanmire Rd, Cork, signed the guilty plea.
The charge relates to February 11, 2025, at a house at Gerald Griffin St, Blackpool, Cork, where it is alleged €14,000 in cash was seized and deemed to be the proceeds of crime.
Sergeant Gearóid Davis confirmed the accused had signed the guilty plea.
Judge David Waters sent the case forward for sentencing at the sessions of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on October 27.
