Cork City Council and the award-winning creators of The Nightmare Realm have announced a new seasonal venture, Nollaig — A Journey to Believe at Elizabeth Fort.

It is intended to become a long-term Christmas tradition for families across Leeside.

The immersive event will see attendees embark on a guided tour through a winter woodland, before meeting residents of Jingle Town as they prepare for Christmas Eve, and will culminate in a visit to Santa Claus.

The 75-minute experience will take place on 18 selected nights from November 27 to December 22, with tickets on sale now from €19.50.

Karl O’Connor, the creator of Nollaig — A Journey to Believe, said the event is “everything we believe Christmas should feel like, and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect home for it than Elizabeth Fort”.

Early booking is recommended, with more information available online at nollaigsantaexperience.ie.
