Final preparations are underway for the Cork Summer Show, Munster’s longest-running agricultural showcase, which returns this weekend at Curraheen Showgrounds.

New additions to the show’s 2026 line-up include a live working farm experience, the Cork Re-enactment Military Show, Tug of War Ireland, rabbits and guinea pigs in the poultry marquee, and musical delights such as Bog Jazz and the Swift Show Tribute Band.

With more than 45,000 visitors are expected, and organisers are encouraging attendees to plan their journey in advance and make use of the enhanced transport options. Operating from 10am-6pm, the extended 208 Bus Éireann service will connect key areas across Cork city before continuing to the showgrounds.

There will also be free shuttle buses from Ballincollig Shopping Centre, Black Ash park and ride, Curraheen Greyhound Stadium, and the Le Chéile building at MTU’s Bishopstown campus, with increased parking capacity there.
