The Coastal Rowing Association Championship regatta will return to Blackrock village this weekend.

The sporting event, which will see groups from clubs across Cork go head-to-head in a series of races, will take place on Sunday.

In a post shared on social media, a spokesperson for the Blackrock Rowing Club said they are “absolutely buzzing to welcome you all back to the village after missing out on a regatta up here last year”.

“Between the fantastic day racing and the Sunday Market happening on the plaza, Blackrock village is the place to be on Sunday,” the spokesperson said.

Club captains will convene in Blackrock village from 9am, with the first race set to kick off at 9.30am. For further information, contact blackrockrowingclub@gmail.com.
