Cork Business Association (CBA) raised €5,595 for St Paul’s Special School, Montenotte, at this year’s Cork Business of the Year Awards 2026, which took place at the end of March at Vienna Woods Hotel.

The school supports children and young people aged four to 18 with moderate, severe, and profound general learning disabilities, providing a tailored, individualised education in a safe and nurturing environment.

Speaking following the annual event, Dave O’Brien, president of Cork Business Association, said: “We were delighted to support St Paul’s Special School as our charity partner for the 2026 awards.

“These funds will help make a meaningful difference, and we are proud to play a role in supporting such an important local organisation.”

Local businesses were also honoured at the awards, with the Vienna Woods named the best Cork hotel on the night.

Another local business, St Luke’s Wine Tavern, was named Best Family Busines.

The tavern is run by two generations and offers authentic Spanish-inspired dining and genuine Cork hospitality rooted in family and community.
