Cork now has two new Lotto millionaires since Easter, with a second winner added over the weekend.

An online Daily Million player scooped the €1m top prize in Sunday’s 2pm draw, coming just days after another Cork player bought the winning €1,005,000 for Friday night’s EuroMillions raffle at the Marina XL filling station.

The winning numbers for the Sunday’s 2pm Daily Million draw were: 2, 3, 15, 17, 23, 26 and the Bonus was 13.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said Cork had enjoyed an exceptional Easter weekend, with two National Lottery players becoming millionaires within a matter of days.

“Our latest Daily Million winner played online and has now secured the €1 million top prize from Sunday’s 2pm draw,” she said.

“An email has been sent to our latest online winner notifying them to check their account for details of their prize.” Ireland’s latest Lotto millionaire is advised to contact 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.

Nearly 30c in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to good causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language.

More than €6.5bn has been raised for good causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago, and last year, €239.3m was raised for causes in communities across Ireland.

The National Lottery says it encourages people to gamble responsibly.
