Gardaí in Cork are seeking the public’s assistance as part of an investigation into criminal damage at a residential property in Macroom earlier this week.

Gardaí in Cork are seeking the public’s assistance as part of an investigation into criminal damage at a residential property in Macroom earlier this week.

An Garda Síochána were alerted to an incident at approximately 11.50pm on Tuesday after the windows of a ground floor residence were damaged at Upper Glenview Terrace in Gurteenroe, Macroom.

It is understood that the damage was caused by a lone male who subsequently left the scene in a dark-coloured car.

Gardaí are seeking witnesses who were in the Gurteenroe area between 10pm and 12:30am on Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

They are also appealing to anyone who may have camera footage, including motorists with dash cam footage, from the area during that time.
