Ryan Tubridy is bringing a live edition of his popular books podcast The Bookshelf to the Cork Opera House in April.

The broadcaster, also an author and book lover, will be sitting down with guests to discover the books that have influenced their lives.

On the podcast, Ryan turns the pages of the lives of his guests through the perspective of three books: the childhood book, the book that brought them joy and the book that changed their life.

A spokesperson for Cork Opera House said: “This special live event invites you to pull up a chair beside one of Ireland’s most beloved broadcasters as you have never seen him before as he brings an interactive evening of stories, craic, conversation and for one night only, the audience can ask the questions too.”

The event takes place on Thursday April 30. For further information and to purchase tickets for The Bookshelf with Ryan Tubridy at the Cork Opera House, see  https://www.corkoperahouse.ie.
