Cork's Everyman Theatre set to stage ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’

An autobiographical play, Tuesdays With Morrie is a stage adaptation of Albom’s acclaimed novel of the same name, which follows the author, a career-driven journalist, who reconnects with his former professor, Morrie Schwartz, who is battling Lou Gehrig’s disease.

David Hayman, who will be starring in the upcoming production of Tuesdays With Morrie, which will run at The Everyman from Thursday 26th – Saturday 28th March. 

The Everyman Theatre will run Mitch Albom’s Tuesdays with Morrie for three performances next month

An autobiographical play, Tuesdays With Morrie is a stage adaptation of Albom’s acclaimed novel of the same name, which follows the author, a career-driven journalist, who reconnects with his former professor, Morrie Schwartz, who is battling Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The lead role is played by veteran actor David Hayman, known for his roles in A Sense of Freedom, Trial and Retribution, Sid and Nancy, and The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas.

He will be joined by Irish actor, writer, and composer Fionn Foley, a familiar face to many through his many performances on stages across Ireland.

Tuesdays with Morrie is produced by Breda Cashe and Pat Moylan, renowned for their many acclaimed productions over the past 25 years, including Alone It Stands and 12 Angry Men, and the world premiere stage productions of The Shawshank Redemption and I, Keano.

Tuesdays with Morrie

will be at the Everyman from Thursday 27 to Saturday 28 of March, at 8pm.
