Four Kilbrittain brothers were getting ready for a big day for the parish next weekend, when they took to a local beach this week.

Brothers Adam, Noah, Oisín and Daniel, along with their friend Sean Leahy, all from Kilbrittain, started the New Year with a game of hurling in the bright sunshine at Harbour View Beach in Kilbrittain.

The five got together on New Year's Day to look forward to a very big day next Saturday, January 10.

The whole parish will be looking forward to the All-Ireland Junior Club final taking place in Croke Park, when the Cork club will meet Sligo club Easkey.
