A fundraiser in aid of CUH Charity mental health services will take place at the Castle Hotel in Macroom on January 10 at 8pm.

Raising funds for the mental health services in Cork University Hospital, there will be a talk by the CUH Charity team about the work they do and where the funds raised will be going towards.

Cork-based motivational speaker and mental health advocate Ger O’Brien will also deliver a talk that will aim to set people up in the right mindset going into 2026.

Throughout his career, Mr O’Brien has been asked by many different companies around the world to speak publicly to their staff, with an impressive list of clients, including Jameson, Lilly, MSD, and Irish Distillers.

There will also be a quiz held at the event, which is being hosted by Patrick Ahern Entertainment, with the night being rounded off with music by DJ Jonathan Casey.

For further information and to purchase tickets, which cost €15, contact event organiser Darrell Holden on 085-111-0021.
