A 40-year-old man accused of stealing an electric scooter at Lower Glanmire Road in August was remanded in custody for a fortnight.

Ross Pardy, of no fixed address in Cork city, is charged with damaging two locks and stealing a €650 e-scooter on August 19.

He is also charged with breaking into a parked car on November 29 and stealing property from the vehicle.

Mr Pardy appeared at Cork District Court by video link from prison, and was represented in court by solicitor Diarmuid Kelleher.
