Gardaí seized a defective vehicle from an unaccompanied learner driver in Cork late last week.
While on patrol in Cork city on Sunday, members of An Garda Síochána detected that the learner driver was also using a mobile phone while operating their vehicle.
Once the driver was stopped, it was additionally found that the vehicle had “multiple defects”.
The vehicle was subsequently seized by An Garda Síochána.
In a post shared on social media, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said the writing on the car “summed it up rather well”.
“The learner driver was detected using a mobile phone while driving and had no full licence holder present,” the spokesperson said.
“Multiple vehicle defects were also found, and the writing on the car summed it up rather well.
“Gardaí in Cork city [then] seized this vehicle."
