Munster Technological University (MTU) has celebrated the graduation of more than 3,880 students during its autumn 2025 conferring ceremonies.

Six days of celebrations have taken place across MTU’s Cork and Kerry campuses.

Proceedings began with the MTU and University College Cork joint awards graduation ceremony at MTU Cork School of Music, followed by further ceremonies at Cork School of Music and at MTU Arena on the Bishopstown campus.

In total, 3,882 degrees were conferred across MTU’s campuses, including 10 PhDs, while three honorary doctorates were also be awarded.

In a testament to international diversity at MTU, 93 nationalities featured among the graduates.

“These conferring ceremonies are the highlight of our academic year and a celebration of the talent, ambition, and hard work of our graduates,” said MTU president Maggie Cusack.

“They reflect not only individual achievement but also the collective strength of our university community and its commitment to transforming lives through education, research, and innovation.

“I wish each and every one of our graduates the very best as they embark on the next stage of their journeys. They do so with the skills, creativity, and resilience to make a meaningful impact in Ireland and around the world,” said Prof Cusack.

At the Cork School of Music graduation ceremony, Antonia Gergely said: “My time at MTU encouraged me to question the world around me, challenge traditional ideas, and connect with people through my art.”
