Trick-or-treaters beware as thunderstorm warning issued for Cork

Those who intend on attending any Halloween activities or heading out trick-or-treating tonight are advised to be cautious as Met Éireann have issued an urgent status yellow weather warning for Cork.

Met Éireann have issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for six counties including Cork, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford for between the hours of 7pm and 10pm tonight, Friday October 31.

Rain with heavy and thundery falls are expected with the possibility for spot flooding and difficult travel conditions.
