Gardaí renew appeal for help to find man last seen in the Cork city two years ago  

The last sighting of Mr Keaveney was as he was walking down toward the Centre Park Road/Marina Area of Cork city in the vicinity of Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Gardaí have renewed their appeal for help in tracing the whereabouts of a Cork man who went missing in the city two years ago. 

John Keaveney went missing from the MacCurtain Street area of Cork city between midnight and 12.30am on Monday, August 21, 2023.

Mr Keaveney is described as being approximately 5 foot 9 inches in height with a slim build. 

He is bald and has brown eyes. 

The last sighting of Mr Keaveney was as he was walking down toward the Centre Park Road/Marina area of Cork city in the vicinity of Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
At the time he was wearing a pair of navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie with the Irish soccer logo as seen in the photograph above, and white runners.

A garda spokesperson said they and Mr Keaveney's family are very concerned for his welfare. 

Anyone with information on John’s whereabouts is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station on 021 452 2000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station, said the spokesperson.
