John O'Donoghue (15) is missing from Bandon since Tuesday, July 8
Gardaí in Cork have thanked the public's assistance for their help in finding a 15-year-old who had been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
A garda spokesperson said: "John O’Donoghue, who was reported missing from Bandon, Co. Cork, since July 8, has been found safe and well.
"Gardaí would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance."
John O’Donoghue (15) was last seen in Bandon at approximately 6pm on Tuesday, July 8.
John is described as being approximately 5 foot 5 inches in height with a slim build.
He has fair hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his lower right forearm.

When last seen on Tuesday evening, John was wearing a black tracksuit with a single red strip down each arm and leg.
