Fans heading to Croke Park this morning for Cork's All-Ireland hurling semi final against Dublin are being warned of an incident at the Rathcormac exit of the M8. Picture Denis Minihane.

TII traffic are warning motorists to expect delays.

Earlier:

Fans heading to Croke Park this morning for Cork's All-Ireland hurling semi final against Dublin are being warned of an incident at the Rathcormac exit of the M8.

It's understood emergency services are at the scene.

Meanwhile, a multi vehicle collision occurred on the N40 eastbound between J9 (N28) Ringaskiddy and J10 Mahon (Cork).

TII advised: "When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and obey instructions from emergency services."

Further towards Dublin, between J19 M7/M8 and J18 Portlaoise (West) (13 kilometres east of the Borris-in-Ossory area) there is a breakdown involving a car or motorbike, according to TII Traffic.

And, between J11 M7/M9 and J12 Newbridge (near Droichead Nua (Newbridge)) there is debris on road.
