Indian cinema retrospective coming to Cork's Firkin Crane

A performative event journeying through the history of Indian cinema is set to take place in Cork later this month.
The event, Rangmanch 2025 From Retro to Reel: The Eras of the Indian Silver Screen, presented by Aatma Indian Dance Troupe, will take place on June 28 at the Smurfit Theatre, Firkin Crane.
From the golden age of classic films to today’s modern screen marvels, Rangmanch 2025 will showcase the diverse eras of Indian cinema through an array of dynamic dance forms.
Blend
Attendees can expect a blend of classical, folk, disco, hip hop, contemporary and cinematic Indian dance styles.
The event, aimed at people of all ages and abilities, is supported by Cork City Council, and sponsored by Cogans Toyota, Tilex, Dosa Spot/Lavish, Zaiqa, Noel Deasy Skoda, Myxtiq, Indian Spice Kitchen, and Link Healthcare.
