Water disruption warning for Cork city suburb on Monday
Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
Part of Cork city’s western suburbs may suffer water supply disruptions next Monday, Uisce Éireann has warned.
The water utility company said new connection works are scheduled to take place next Monday afternoon, beginning at midday on Monday, June 9, and running until 4pm.
Uisce Éireann warned that there is likely to be some disruption to local water supplies in parts of Ovens.
According to the company, the works, which are part of its National Leakage Reduction Programme, may cause supply disruptions to Elm Mews, The Cedars, Oak Drive, Bothar An Chrainn, Classes, Ovens, and surrounding areas in Co Cork.
Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
To access updates on these works, the public is invited to visit the Uisce Éireann website, water.ie, and enter in the search bar the reference: COR00093793.
