Cork dance show to feature touch-tour for those with visual impairment or neurodiversity
Ireland’s National Dance Company - in collaboration with the Irish Chamber Orchestra, brings its inaugural performance, Chora, to the Opera House on Wednesday.
On Wednesday evening, Luail, Ireland’s national dance company, will bring Chora, its acclaimed inaugural dance work, to Cork Opera House, and is offering an audio description and a pre-show touch-tour for people with visual impairment or neurodiversity.
Chora is comprised of three new dance works, which will see the company’s ensemble of dancers join forces with the Irish Chamber Orchestra in an exchange of dance and live contemporary orchestral works, that include Cork composer Sam Perkin’s Nimbus - set to Liz Roche’s new piece titled Constellations.
The performance will be accompanied by a touch tour before the show and an audio description during the show, designed for those with additional needs, or for anyone who is interested in experiencing dance in a supported way.

The performance begins at 8pm, and attendees will be invited into the theatre an hour before the show for the touch-tour.
