The newly refurbished CRAFT bar and restaurant has officially opened at Cork Airport.

Located airside at Cork Airport, CRAFT features a completely renovated bar counter and seating area, along with a dedicated restaurant area with seating to accommodate 150 customers at any given time.

As he officially opened the new bar, Kenny Jacobs, DAA CEO said the airport operator said is delighted with the partnership it has with KSG, a leading provider of food and hospitality services across Ireland.

“We’re super proud of Cork Airport at DAA.

“We’re delighted with this renewed partnership with KSG, moving ahead on this exciting journey to help the airport and the region grow and develop into the future,” he said.

Michael Gleeson, KSG CEO said a bar and restaurant of a bigger size was needed at Cork Airport to accommodate the growing number of passengers.

“Cork is already known as the fastest airport in the country, so we wanted to build on that by creating a space with more room, quicker service, and great food and drink to enjoy before your flight.

“We’re proud to use the best of local produce and suppliers, from craft beers to fresh ingredients, so you can enjoy a real taste of Munster while you wait.

“Whether it’s an espresso martini at the cocktail bar or a burger or salad and a pint in CRAFT, we’re here to make your journey that little bit better. We can’t wait to welcome you on your next trip.”

Cork Airport managing director Niall MacCarthy added: “We love supporting Irish business at Cork Airport and we’re delighted to see the expansion of KSG, a proud and long-standing Irish food services company offering the best of fresh and local produce together with tasty drinks in a modern setting.

“We know that this new bar/restaurant will be appreciated and enjoyed by our passengers heading off on their travels.”

CRAFT will have a new food menu which aims to showcase the culinary identity of Cork, with a strong focus on locally-sourced ingredients from suppliers with a leading sustainability ethos.
