Driver taken to hospital following collision on busy Cork road

The N20 has now re-opened for use following an earlier collision involving a car and a bus, a garda spokesperson confirmed.
One person has been taken to hospital following a collision on the Mallow Rd this morning.
A garda spokesperson said gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of a traffic collision "involving a bus and a car that occurred at approximately 10:30am on the N20 Mallow to Cork road, Co Cork".
Crews from Anglesea Street and @CorkCountyFire are currently in attendance at a Road Traffic Collision on the Mallow Road.

"The driver of the car has been conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
"The N20 is currently closed with local diversions in place," the spokesperson said.
