A new digital platform launched by Ireland’s leading dog welfare charity will help puppy owners with training their new best friends.

More than 1,000 owners surveyed by Dogs Trust highlighted lack of time as one of the biggest issues.

Some 60% of owners surveyed said that they didn’t have the time to properly train their puppies, and 30% said it was their biggest stumbling block.

To support new puppy owners, Dogs Trust Ireland has launched ‘Your Puppy Toolkit’, its first digital training platform to help build good habits from day one.

The mobile-first training resource provides a variety of resources, including quizzes, infographics, and practical video lessons on common issues reported by puppy owners, alongside a progress tracker to help owners stay on track.

The toolkit is available now for puppies aged eight weeks to 12 months. Courses start from €60.
