Buses will be operating a Sunday timetable tomorrow due to it being a bank holiday weekend, and the St Patrick’s Day parade means there will be a number of diversions in place in the city.

All northbound services through Patrick Street will operate diversions from start of service, and all other services will operate a through service via diverted routes from 10am to 6pm.

There will be diversions for routes 202, 202a, 203, 205, 206, 207, 207a, 208, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 220, 223, 225, 226 – full details of these diversions are available on the Cork City Council website.

Additionally routes 40, 233, 236, 237, 239 westbound will operate via Lower Oliver Plunkett St, Penrose Quay, Patrick's Quay, Camden Quay, Christy Ring, Lavitt's Quay, Kyrles Quay, Gratton Street, then normal.

When coming from the west, the same routes will operate via Mardyke, Grenville Place, Kyrles Quay, Lavitts Quay, Christy Ring Bridge, Carrols Quay, Leitrim Street, Coburg Street, Mc Curtain Street, Brian Boru Bridge, Lower Oliver Plunkett Street, Parnell Place.

All loadings onto buses will be at the rear of the bus station for the duration of the parade.

There will be temporary stops in operation at:

Anglesea Street - Old Station Road to Breast Check area.

Patrick's Quay - Near Mary Elm's Bridge.

Sullivan's Quay - Opposite Nano Nagle Bridge.

Sun Valley Drive for 202/202A diversion. 

Lavitts Quay for drop offs only.
