An area on Cork city’s northside may suffer overnight water supply disruptions on Thursday, Uisce Éireann has warned.

The water utility company said that overnight mains repair works are scheduled to take place from 9pm on Thursday, February 27, until 1am on Friday, February 28, and are likely to cause some disruptions to local water supplies.

According to the company, the works, which are part of its National Leakage Reduction Programme, may cause supply disruptions to Glen View Terrace, Ballyhooly Road and surrounding areas in Cork city.

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.

To access updates on these works, the public is invited to visit the Uisce Éireann website, water.ie, and enter in the search bar the reference: CCI00089683.
