File sent to DPP in case against man accused of robbing two people in Cork city

Progress has been made in the investigation of a 25-year-old man who is accused of robbing two people in the Mardyke area of Cork.
Sergeant Dave Delea said that the Garda file had been completed and had been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions and that directions were awaited.
Frank Buttimer, solicitor, said that in the light of that progress, the accused man, who is in custody, would consent to a three week adjournment.
Judge Mary Dorgan put the matter back until February 20.
Jordan Waters, of Mount Saint Joseph’s Drive, Baker’s Road, Cork, is charged with robbery of a €725 iPhone 15 from a man at Mardyke Walk, Cork, on September 20.
He is charged, on the same date, with robbery of a Manchester United backpack and a Samsung phone, valued at €200, at Fitzgerald’s Park, Mardyke, Cork, from another man.
