Aldi has launched a new recruitment drive, looking to fill more than 100 positions across Cork.

The supermarket chain, which boasts a network of 27 stores across the city and county, is looking to build its team in 2025 by filling both in-store and warehouse positions.

The retailer, with an annual spend of €70m with 35 Cork-based suppliers, has a number of roles currently available for applications, including store assistants, store cleaners, and stock selectors, all of which have a starting salary of €14.80 per hour, exceeding the current rate set by The Living Wage Technical Group.

Additionally, new recruits, depending on the role, will receive an additional €2.30 per hour premium for any hours worked during a nightshift, and will have access to a range of company benefits and wellbeing schemes including an Employee Assistance Programme, a Women in Leadership programme and a Bike to Work Scheme.

“Aldi is dedicated to not only providing exceptional products and services to our customers but also creating a rewarding and supportive environment for our employees,” Brian O’Shea, HR director at Aldi Ireland, said.

“Our commitment to offering market-leading pay, comprehensive benefits, and a focus on employee well-being underscores our belief in nurturing a motivated and fulfilled workforce.”

The application process for any Aldi role consists of an online application, with successful candidates progressing to the interview stage of the process.

Interested applicants can submit their CV via the Aldi recruitment page at: www.aldirecruitment.ie.
