Popular Marina Market coffee outlet announces closure
Guji were the first tenants of the Marina Market more than four years ago.
Guji coffee bar has shared the sad news that they are closing their pink shipping container outlet at the Marina Market.
They had operated at the spot for over four years, and were the first tenant at the market. However, their store on Paul Street is to remain open, and the team shared that they hope to expand further.
They shared on social media: “From Meshi, Alan and all the team at GUJI, Thank you to all the customers who visited us in Marina Market over the past 4 years and 16 weeks. It’s time to move on.
“If you haven’t been already, we look forward to welcoming you to our shop in Paul Street, Cork where you will see the same team, and hopefully we will see you in more GUJI stores in the future as we continue to expand.
“We loved being part of the Marina Market’s birth. We were the first tenants there and we have been so grateful to all of you customers who supported us during Covid and since then.
“We can’t believe we managed to stay this long and trade as well as we did from a small 20ft container. It has been a blast. Here’s to the next chapter.”
