Nine restaurants in Cork have been shortlisted for the 11th annual Just Eat Awards, which recognise the best restaurants and Just Eat partners across Ireland.

The Just Eat Awards celebrate the best and most loved restaurants and partners across the country — from local, independent food spots to national restaurant brands.

With 80 nominees shortlisted across 10 categories, the restaurants featured on this year’s shortlist have been recognised for their commitment to excellence.

Cork restaurants shortlisted are the Thali Restaurant in the Best Indian category; Mayumi, Soba Asian Street Food, and Noodlee in the Best Asian category; Pompeii Pizza at the Franciscan Well Brewery in the Best Pizza category; Izz Cafe and Four Liars Syrian Restaurant in the Best Middle Eastern category; and O’Reilly’s Fish and Chip and Lennoxs MacCurtain Street in the Best Chipper category.

“We are delighted to launch our 11th annual Just Eat Awards and reveal all our incredible restaurant partners, including nine Cork restaurants, who have been shortlisted this year,” Amanda Roche-Kelly, the managing director at Just Eat Ireland, said.

“All these amazing restaurants, as well as our wider network, continue to deliver for all of us, producing the key ingredients for a night in to remember.”

The awards’ biggest accolade, the Best of Ireland, will be given to the independent restaurant who receives the highest number of votes cast — both in their individual category and overall. In addition to being awarded the title of Best of Ireland, Just Eat will also give the top performing restaurant €50,000 worth of media value.

With voting for this year’s awards officially open, Just Eat will also be giving every voter a chance to win a special prize — as every vote cast will automatically be entered into a draw to win free Just Eat for a year.

Votes can be cast until February 10 via: https://www.just-eat.ie/awards/2024/ie-en/home/
