Cork is among the counties facing fresh weather warnings as Storm Boelo approaches Ireland, following the impact of Storm Austen.
The warnings come amid the risk of flooding, difficult travelling conditions and possible power outages.
Around 3,000 homes, farms and businesses in the worst-affected area were without electricity on Friday morning following strong winds and rain from Storm Austen.
ESB Networks said crews had been deployed in all areas affected by the power outages.
All weather warnings associated with Austen, which predominantly affected Munster and Leinster, expired at 10am on Friday.
Met Éireann has issued several warnings for Storm Boelo, with the west coast and northern parts of the island expected to be most affected.
A yellow-level warning for rain will apply to Cork, Clare, Kerry, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Donegal and Limerick from 4am to 3pm on Saturday.
Kerry will also be subject to an orange-level rain warning from 7am to 2pm on Saturday.
An orange-level wind warning will apply to Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 2pm on Saturday until 9am on Sunday.
A yellow-level wind warning will cover the five counties in Connacht, as well as Clare, Kerry and Limerick, from 1pm on Saturday until midday on Sunday.
A separate yellow-level wind warning will apply to Donegal from 1pm on Saturday until 3pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the UK Met Office has issued a yellow wind warning for Northern Ireland from 6pm on Saturday until 3pm on Sunday.
The Met Office warned that gusts of 50 to 60mph could affect Northern Ireland, reaching 65 to 75mph in exposed areas.
