Man pleads guilty to discharging gunshot at house in Cork

All of the offences occurred on August 23 and the house was at Laurel Ridge, Shanakiel, Cork.
A signed plea of guilty was entered by a 25-year-old man accused of discharging a gunshot at a house in Cork last August.
On the application of Sergeant Dave Delea, Judge John King sent the case forward from Cork District Court for sentencing at the sessions of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on February 4.
Judge King remanded Jamie Russell in custody – with his consent – until that date.
Defence solicitor Eddie Burke represented Mr Russell of Harbour View Road in Knocknaheeny, Cork city, who signed guilty pleas to charges including reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and dangerous driving causing injury.
