On the application of Sergeant Aisling Murphy at Cork District Court, Judge Mary Dorgan sent the case forward for sentencing at the next sessions of Cork Circuit Criminal Court commencing on February 4, 2025.
Matthew Heaphy, previously of The Borough, Maryborough Hill, Douglas, and now in full-time residential care in Dublin, signed the plea of guilty to the charge of robbery at Herlihy’s Centra, Grand Parade, on February 22, 2024, where €140 in €20 notes was taken.
Solicitor Eddie Burke confirmed the signed plea of guilty to the charge at Cork District Court.
