Possible southside water disruptions this week

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.

Parts of Cork city’s southside may suffer water supply disruptions on Thursday, Uisce Éireann has warned.

The water utility company said that mains rehabilitation works are scheduled to take place in parts of Rochestown on Thursday, and are likely to cause some disruptions to local water supplies.

According to the company, the works may cause supply disruptions to Upper Kensington, Lower Kensington, Charlemont Heights, Norwood Court, Estuary Court, Coach Hill and surrounding areas.

Works are scheduled to take place from 9am until 5pm on Thursday, January 9.

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
