Gardaí involved in search operation in Blarney area

A number of Garda units from Cork city were involved in a search operation of a premises in the Blarney area early on Thursday morning, it has been confirmed.

In a statement from the Garda Press Office, a spokesperson said the operation which took place at 7am as part of an ongoing investigation.

No arrests were made during the operation and investigations are ongoing, according to the Garda statement.
