Ireland’s only double-tribute show, dedicated to the music of the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac is coming to Cork this autumn.

The Illegals, led by Niamh Kavanagh, will be performing on October 11, live at The Everyman theatre from 8pm, in a gig described by the venue as “a journey of soulful harmonies, exciting riffs, blistering guitars and unforgettable songs.”

“The best of two legendary bands in one night is an event not to be missed,” they added.

Ms Kavanagh, an Irish singer, is best known for her winning entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993, which was held in Millstreet, where she secured the second consecutive win for Ireland at the competition.

She went on to represent Ireland at the contest again in 2010, when it was held in Oslo, where she qualified for the Grand Final.

The performance, suitable for people of all ages, will run for three hours, with tickets available for purchase from The Everyman website from €28.50.
