The Montenotte hotel has opened the woodland suite experience for guests. It has nine outdoor suites and a clubhouse.

With an investment of €7.5m, the outdoor suites, which include five woodland suites and four river suites, sit on the hilltop within the hotel’s grounds and overlook the city.

The residents-only clubhouse is situated amidst the two different suite styles.

General manager Frits Potgieter described the development as “an important milestone” in The Montenotte’s journey to create an urban resort.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to reconnect with themselves and experience a complete sense of escapism at our urban resort,” he said.

Owners of The Montenotte, Frankie and Jo Whelehan, said: “At The Montenotte, we are passionate about providing our guests with unforgettable and inspiring stays, and with the woodland suite experience we invite them to reconnect with themselves and each other whilst experiencing a total sense of escapism.”
