Paris Olympics: Your guide to Ireland's athletes in action on Bank Holiday Monday

With Team Ireland sweeping up medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, there are still a number of races, matches and sessions to keep your eyes on as the competition continues.

Following successes last week from Cork’s own rowing duo, Paul O’Donovan of UCC Rowing Club and Fintan McCarthy of Skibbereen Rowing Club, as well as Dublin’s Daniel Wiffen and Down’s Rhys McClenaghan, spirits are high and hopeful for our Irish athletes as we enter into week two of the Games.

Here’s a list of who to keep your screens on today as day 10 gets underway, with one Cork competitor taking to the saddle:

DIVING 

9.00am  - Women’s 10m Platform Preliminary: Ciara McGing (DUBLIN).

ATHLETICS 

10.55am - Women’s 400m [Round 1]: Rhasidat Adeleke (DUBLIN), Sharlene Mawdsley (TIPPERARY) and Sophie Becker (WEXFORD).

SAILING 

11.15am - Women’s Dinghy Series [Race 9]: Eve McMahon (DUBLIN).

1.45pm - Men’s Dinghy Series [Race 9]: Finn Lynch (CARLOW).

EQUESTRIAN 

1pm - Jumping Individual Qualifier: Shane Sweetnam (CORK), Daniel Coyle (DERRY), and Cian O’Connor (MEATH).
