Paris Olympics: Your guide to Team Ireland in action on Day 15

With Dublin’s Rhasidat Adeleke narrowly missing her podium opportunity at yesterday’s Olympic Games in Paris, today will see another shot for Ireland’s athletics team.
The 21-year-old Tallaght native claimed fourth place in the women’s 400m final, with a finishing time of 49.28, closely behind Poland’s Natalia Kaczmarek, who claimed the Bronze medal with a time of 48.98.
Kaczmarek was beaten out for Silver by Bahrain’s Salwa Eid Naser, and succeeded by the Dominican Republic’s Marileidy Paulino for Gold.
Team Ireland still has a chance at bagging an 8th medal for the tricolour today, with Cork’s Phil Healy returning to the track as a finalist.
