THE original home of the Cork Jazz Festival is set to host to a range of diverse artists and music on several stages across the October Bank Holiday weekend.

Tickets for the 2024 Jazz Festival Club at the Metropole Hotel went on sale this week, with several acts already confirmed.

The full lineup will be announced closer to the date, but among those already announced are the New York Brass Band, Ben Beattie, The Swing Cats, Harry Connolly and the Hugh Buckley trio.

The hotel’s Riverview Restaurant will offer a number of jazz dining experiences offering a four-course dinner accompanied by live music performances and access to the Jazz Festival Club.

Sandra Murphy, group brand and communications manager at Trigon Hotels said the Metropole Hotel had been at the heart of the action since the Cork Jazz Festival was first established 46 years ago.

“The range of musical acts ensures there’s something for everyone and our jazz dining experience packages means people can enjoy a specially designed menu using locally sourced ingredients surrounded by the sounds of live music,” Ms Murphy said.

The Metropole Hotel Festival Club is strictly over 23s, with tickets available on Eventbrite.

Tickets cost from €41 per person per night with prices for the jazz dining experience ranging from €85 to €150 per person.
