Two units from Cork City Fire Brigade and a team from the National Ambulance Service attended the scene. 

Emergency services attended the scene of a small domestic fire in Cork city this morning.

The incident, which involved a fire at a residence on the Model Farm Road, occurred shortly after 10.40am.

Two units from Cork City Fire Brigade and a team from the National Ambulance Service attended the scene. 

A woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries. 

Second officer with Cork City Fire Brigade, Victor Shine said officers dealt with the situation "amazingly and were supported by the National Ambulance Team.

"One woman was treated at the scene," he added.

No further medical assistance was required.
