A brand-new route from Cork Airport will operate from May next year.
Global travel and leisure company TUI announced today that flights to Corfu will commence from May 9, 2025.
Booking has already opened, enabling travellers to proactively plan and anticipate their holiday for the coming year.
“We are delighted to expand our Summer 2025 program from Cork Airport to include the picturesque island of Corfu," Craig Morgan, Head of Ireland for TUI, said.
"This direct flight will open up an exciting range of hotels and unique holiday experiences for Munster holidaymakers on this beautiful Greek island.”
Corfu, affectionately known as the (other) “Emerald Isle”, is great for holidaymakers seeking a blend of history, relaxation, and natural beauty.
“Today’s announcement demonstrates our ongoing commitment to give local holidaymakers access to a fantastic range of holiday destinations direct from Cork. Corfu complements our existing flights to a fantastic choice of destinations for Summer 2025 including the Canary Islands, Spain, Portugal and city breaks to Paris.
"Plus, this new route offers our customers to set sail aboard a Marella cruise across the Eastern Mediterranean direct from their local airport.”
Niall MacCarthy, Managing Director at Cork Airport said: “I’m thrilled that our loyal passengers will have yet another destination to choose from Cork Airport, in the beautiful island of Corfu.
"Thanks to our friends at TUI for choosing to expand at Cork, on the back of their existing successful services to Reus, Palma de Mallorca and Lanzarote.”
