Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.

New connection works may cause water and traffic disruptions on Cork’s northside on Thursday, Uisce Éireann has warned.

The water utility company said the works are scheduled to take place from 10.30am until 2.30pm on Thursday, April 4.

According to Uisce Éireann, new connection works may cause supply and traffic disruptions to Errigal Heights, Glen Avenue, The Glen and surrounding areas in Cork city.

There will be a traffic management plan in place for the duration of the works.

Uisce Éireann said it recommended that the public should allow two to three hours after the estimated restoration time for water supply to fully return.
