Cork Airport to welcome 50,000 passengers over Easter weekend

Cork Airport’s summer schedule kicks off this weekend and will operate until the end of October, with flights to Alghero, Bordeaux, Frankfurt, Girona, Milan Bergamo, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Pisa, Reus, and Zurich to recommence.

Cork Airport’s summer schedule kicks off this weekend and will operate until the end of October, with flights to Alghero, Bordeaux, Frankfurt, Girona, Milan Bergamo, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Pisa, Reus, and Zurich to recommence.

The summer schedule also sees new Ryanair routes to Rhodes in Greece, Zadar in Croatia and Brussels Charleroi in Belgium, which were recently launched by the president of the Irish Travel Agents Association Angela Walsh at an event in Cork city.
Ryanair will also operate its flights to Venice throughout the summer and next week will switch from Venice Treviso to Venice Marco Polo Airport.
Looking forward to the Easter period, Cork Airport’s communications manager Barry Holland, said: “Easter is a busy time of year and this weekend it also coincides with the start of our very busy summer schedule here at Cork Airport.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming almost 50,000 passengers, flying in and out.
“Over the coming days, we will see the resumption of some of our most popular European summer services, which will run for the season until the end of October.
“You’d be hopping mad to miss out on a great break from Cork Airport this Easter or summer.”
Passengers intending to fly from Cork Airport this coming weekend are advised to arrive 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time of their flight.
