BOOKING has opened for this summer’s West Cork Chamber Music Festival, which takes place at Bantry.
The festival will feature 50 concerts and 80 musicians over 10 days.
Billed as Ireland’s most exciting celebration of chamber music, the festival has five international quartets and a stellar line-up of world-class musicians.
Free family-friendly fringe concerts will bring the music to the wider West Cork area, and there will be pop-up performances in Bantry town.
Festival masterclasses will run daily and Ireland’s only instrument exhibition will be held in the Old Methodist Church.
The West Cork Chamber Music Festival runs from Friday, June 28 to Sunday, July 7.
The festival is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Failte Ireland, Crespo Foundation, and Cork County Council.
