Ten men suspected of organised crime arrested in Garda operation in West Cork
The men were aged between their mid-twenties and mid-fifties, and are currently detained at a Garda station in county Cork.
TEN men have been arrested in West Cork following an organised crime operation by An Garda Siochana.
The arrests, some of which took place in Leap village, are thought to be drug related, though this has yet to be confirmed.

A Garda spokesperson told The Echo, “This morning, 14th March 2024, An Garda Síochána commenced an operation in West Cork.
“During the course of the Operation 10 males (ages ranging from mid 20s to mid 50s) were arrested.
“All 10 males continue to be detained at Garda Station in County Cork under Organised Crime legislation.
“A number of vehicles were also detained and remain detained subject to ongoing technical examination.
“An Garda Síochána is making no further comment at this time.”
